Your story matters.
Someone out there needs to know they're not alone.
Recovery can feel incredibly lonely. Sometimes hearing someone say “me too” is enough to help us take one more step.
Your story could be that for someone else.
You don't have to be fully recovered to share your story.
You don't need a perfect ending.
If you're still fighting, your story still matters.
What we're looking for
Honest stories about recovery.
Not perfect stories. Not polished stories. Just real ones.
Tell us about a struggle you faced, something you learned, a turning point, or even one small moment that helped you keep going.
If your story helped you choose recovery, even for one day, we would love to hear it.
Need help getting started?
You could write about...
You do not have to answer every prompt. Choose whatever feels most meaningful to you.
What was one of the hardest parts of your eating disorder?
What helped you take a step toward recovery?
Was there a person, conversation, or moment that changed something for you?
What has recovery given back to you?
What would you tell someone who feels hopeless today?

Every submission is reviewed before it is published. Stories may be lightly edited for clarity, length, and safety while preserving the writer's meaning.
Your story may not change everyone's life.
But it might change one person's day.
Sometimes that's enough.
